I'm a Party Girl at heart. There's an open debate as to whether I enjoy the listening or organizing more when it comes to this collection.

My records might technically be more of an “accumulation” than a collection. The acquisition process has been more emotional than systematic, and none were selected for their rarity or resale value. Some I’ve had for decades, some were picked up during my time working for a label, and most have a provenance that can be traced back to my time working at Rainy Day Records.

As an MLIS student with a concentration in Archives Management, the assignment to produce a personal website seemed like it almost required a cataloging focus of some kind. This is a selection from my most personal archive— my record collection.
